Wendy Lazarus Receives Federal Board Appointment

Santa Monica, CA – The Children’s Partnership is proud to announce today that U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius has appointed its Founder and Co-President, Wendy Lazarus, to the National Advisory Child Health and Human Development Council. Established in 1962 by President John F. Kennedy with the support of Congress, the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development studies the process of human development from conception to old age.
