It is unknown at this point what effect the implementation of this cut will have on children who receive health care services through Medi-Cal. Some oral health advocates, such as The Children’s Partnership, have pointed out that California already ranks among the bottom three states in the nation in Medi-Cal reimbursement, even before the cut is implemented.
