This webinar gives a general overview of health coverage & care options available to undocumented and mixed-status immigrant individuals and families, including children, youth, and adults. Medi-Cal and Covered CA are discussed as well as how to utilize community clinics and access dental and mental health care. In addition, this session offers resources for how to advocate for yourself and your family.

This year’s return to the academic school year will be different because of COVID-19. Learn about resources available to parents and caregivers to help children to be healthy and reach academic success.
This webinar was presented in English, with live Spanish translation available. Topics covered include:

This webinar is a special collaboration between Gente Organizada and InnerCity Struggle, and CDF-CA to provide a safe space for youth to explore and talk about stress and trauma and how it’s affecting their lives.
Special guest Dr. Vilma Reyes will facilitate a conversation to help participants understand how stress and trauma are impacted by race/ethnicity and other parts of identity (gender, ability, sexual orientation, class, etc.). In addition, this webinar will connect young people with resources that support healing for themselves and their communities.
