Help defend your health care by telling us what ACA or Medi-Cal means to your family.
Children and families across California have benefitted greatly thanks to the Affordable Care Act (ACA). In fact, nearly 97 percent of California children have health coverage thanks to the progress made possible by the ACA and Medi-Cal. Our progress in reaching all children with affordable, quality health coverage is at risk! President Trump and Congress are currently working to repeal the ACA without a plan in place to replace it. Those actions put the health care of our families at risk.
Has your child or family gotten health coverage thanks to ACA or Medi-Cal? Tell us your story. Stories help us explain to policymakers and the public exactly what is at risk in efforts to change our health care.
Examples of stories that will help us defend California families’ health care include:
- Families who were able to purchase health coverage for the first time through Covered California
- Children who are enrolled in Medi-Cal and receiving care for a chronic or life threatening condition
- Families with children who became eligible for Medi-Cal thanks to the Health4All Kids Medi-Cal expansion
